About Us

The Swiss Center of North America preserves and supports Swiss cultural heritage in the U.S. and Canada by providing resources to learn about an individual’s Swiss heritage, fostering cultural, commercial and tourism relationships with Switzerland, and maintaining a robust on-line media presence.
We are adding one-of-a-kind primary research materials to our Tritt Library/Archive providing insight into the Swiss presence, life, culture and impact in North America.
The Swiss Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

“My husband, who is first generation, and his father who emigrated from Switzerland, have always been proud of their Swiss heritage. As our children grow, we are now even more captivated by our shared Swiss heritage and culture.” Nicole Brandli

The Brandli family of Monroe, Wisconsin is fortunate to have a strong connection to a Swiss community.
Others lack that connection and can feel isolated from their heritage and culture.
The Swiss Center of North America, incorporated as a nonprofit in 2002, exists to offer that sense of Swiss community through a celebration of shared traditions, identities and Swiss roots,
The Swiss Center facility has been open since December of 2008 as a national center for the Swiss-North American community of some 1.5 million people.
Contributions from many individuals are what make the Swiss Center of North America possible.
We invite your membership and support. Please learn more about the Swiss Roots Society.
