Tritt Library and Archives

Please, don't throw those manuscripts or club records  and photos away.  They just might be the only remaining records that serve as the memory of an organization. Great or small, these items represent events in the life of a Swiss organization perhaps no longer in existence or the lives of its individual members.
Before you toss contact the Swiss Center at or call 608-527-6565 to discuss options.
We have the following objectives for the Tritt Library and Archives:
1) Create an archive by collecting documents and artifacts relating to Swiss involvement in North American life and history;
2) Create a reference library pertaining to Swiss American history, immigration studies and contemporary culture;
3) Promote Swiss genealogical research.

The Tritt Library and Archive is priceless treasure for those interested in learning more about the history of the Swiss and their significant role in the history of North America and the world.
Donald G. Tritt LIbrary and Archives
