In 1957, Ernst Lindemann receives America immigration quota #692 visa from the American Consulate in Zurich. He had applied for a job in a place he did not know called Puerto Rico.
Eugene Schnee is known as El Suizo in Puerto Rico. From his apprenticeship in Switzerland he learned German, French and Italian ways of meat-making. He came to the Swiss Chalet Restaurant on the 22 December 1959.
