Swiss Singing Societies
Two Swiss singing societies continue the Swiss musical heritage in North America. Both hold a Saengerfest for participating choirs every three years.
The North American Swiss Singing Alliance (NASSA) is an international Swiss singing organization comprised of 15 Swiss choral groups from the Upper Midwest and Canada. NASSA represents some 350 singers in mixed, men's, women's and yodel choirs. Saengerfest 2015 was held in New Glarus, WI on a beautiful June weekend. Enjoy some of the music and pictures from the latest Saengerfest by visiting the Swiss Center on YouTube.
