Swiss Center Collections and Inventory
The Archives of the Swiss Center of North America preserve historic material from Swiss American clubs and organizations as well as individuals.
This is the center for documentation and research on the history of the Swiss and the Swiss in North America.
From the Minutes Book of the Toledo, Ohio Swiss Gruetli-Verein (1869-1943) to Selected Works of Huldreich Zwingli (1484-1531), as well as Swiss Colonization: Society Records 1858-1860 (Tell City, IN) the Donald G. Tritt Library and Archives is saving material we believe will help preserve our Swiss national culture from past to present.
Our holdings consist of more than 9,000 books, rare books, collections of historical records and pamphlets, newspapers, photographs, recorded audio and sound (CDs/videos/DVDs), art work, maps, genealogical materials, festival event flyers, brochures, programs and other related publications; festival memorabilia; club member memorabilia.
