The Knabenmusik der Stadt St. Gallen (Youth Concert Band from St. Gallen, Switzerland) arrived at the Turner Hall of Monroe in full force Wednesday afternoon to meet their host families for a 3-day stay.

The Cantilevered forebay bank barn, also called in the US, the Switzer barn has its roots in Canton Graubunden in the Eastern end of Switzerland.

Its alpine history is that of high mountain grazing and demonstrates the formation prototype of the Cantilevered forebay bank barn. In German language the term is stallscheune mit freitragende laube.
